Every project is a little different — but my goal is always to make commissioning art simple, transparent, and enjoyable. When you reach out, we’ll talk through your vision: style, size, colours, medium, and timeline. Once we’re aligned, I’ll send a quote and we’ll lock in a timeline.

Here’s how it typically goes:

1. Initial Consultation
   We’ll chat (by email / call / Zoom) to define your idea clearly.
   Feel free to send reference images, mood boards, or sketches — whatever helps me understand your vision.

2. Agreement & Deposit
   Once we agree on the price and timeline, I’ll issue a contract outlining everything (scope, revisions, timeline, usage rights).
   A 50% deposit is required before I begin work. The remaining 50% is due at the time of final delivery.

3. Creation & Revisions

   • Round One: Mockup / concept stage — you’ll have the chance to give significant feedback.

   • Round Two: After production — for smaller tweaks and final polish.
     (Note: depending on the medium, there may be some limits on how much can be adjusted later.)

4. Final Delivery
   Once the piece is approved, I’ll finalize it and deliver the artwork: digitally (high-res files) or physically (properly packaged/shipped).
   You’ll receive everything we agreed on, and I’ll also include any care or display tips if relevant.

• Payment: 50% upfront, 50% on delivery.

• Timeline: We’ll set realistic milestones and check-in points so you know when to expect each stage.

• Cancellations: If the project is cancelled, we’ll refer to the contract terms — part of the deposit may be refunded depending on how much work has been done.

Here's how I typically break down sizes — which also helps me set fair pricing:

• Small (e.g., 5×7, 8×10): Ideal for shelves, little corners, or gallery walls

• Medium (e.g., 11×14, 16×20): Versatile and commonly used in many rooms

• Large (e.g., 18×24, 24×36): Good for making a statement, especially above furniture

• Oversized (e.g., 30×40, 40×60+): For big walls or dramatic, eye-catching placement

Here are the art mediums I typically work with — each brings its own feel, texture, and magic. Pick the one that best fits your vision, or we can talk through what would work most beautifully for your project.

Digital Art
Versatile and precise, digital art allows for clean lines, vibrant colour, and easy edits. Great for prints, web graphics, or layered compositions — and it’s super efficient for revisions.

Pyrography (Wood Burning)
This is the art of “writing with fire” — using a heated tool to burn designs into wood or leather. It produces warm, organic lines with rich texture and depth.

Watercolour
Soft, flowing, and translucent. Watercolour lets colours bleed and layer naturally, offering delicate gradients and an ethereal feel.

Ink
Bold and timeless, ink gives you sharp contrast and graphic clarity. Whether in fine lines, expressive strokes, or calligraphic work, ink delivers strength and detail.

Pencil Crayon (Colored Pencil)
Crayons / coloured pencils let you build rich, layered colour with control. They’re perfect for detailed illustrations or soft shading.

Linocut
A traditional printmaking method where I carve into linoleum and print by hand. This medium has a raw, textured feel and often results in charming, tactile prints.

Graphite
Simple, classic, and incredibly expressive. Graphite (pencil) can deliver everything from light sketches to deep, detailed renderings.

Pysanky
A traditional Ukrainian art form using a wax-resist (batik) technique to create vibrant, folk-inspired designs. The eggs are delicate and designed for display: each pysanka blown out or varnished to preserve the shell.
